Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement access hatch for RVs from Valterra. This unit adds or replaces an access hatch on your RV, boat, or horse trailer. It can really be used for many different applications. The mount hole pattern matches most original hatch rings. It's going to simply provide access to plumbing, electrical, cargo areas, and hose compartments. It's going to feature a weatherproof seal.
That's going to do a great job at keeping out water, dirt, and the elements. The unit's constructed of an ABS construction that is white in color. It's UV resistant. It's very easy to use. A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick. We're going to take a measurement of the opening.
That's going to give us our hole opening diameter. And that's where we're going to get the five inch measurement from. If we go outer edge to outer edge of the unit, we're looking at a measurement of about six and three quarters of an inch in diameter. Then the mount holes on these, if we go straight across from the center of one hole to the center of the other, we're looking at a measurement of about six and one eight of an inch. Please keep in mind that mounting hardware is not included, but it does have numerous mounting holes that go around the perimeter. That way you can easily get it installed and secured. Round Hatchway from my sewer pipe connection on my Class A. My sewer pipe knuckles would not allow the flex sewer line to pass through. Thanks to etrailer, I can set the line up correctly. Passing through the floor and out. Compartment shuts closed. You can say I am A "happy camper" Thanks etrailer
When we had to replace the sewer compartment due to a blowout the dealer put in a sewer ring that was to small and I had to remove the connector to put the hose through. I found this sewer ring that was the right size. It was easy to install and solved the problem.
This part has a larger opening than my original equipment allowing my new septic hose to pass through. Easy to install and works very well. If you need a replacement, this is the one.
