Too early to tell on the kit. Install went without a problem and the system initially worked as expected. The pump is LOUD!!!! I originally thought about installing behind the rear seat but opted to install inside the job body. Thank god, it’s really loud in there even with the door closed.

by:

Friendly sales reps and quick shipping. Airlift bags and wireless controller arrived together and ready for installation. Thanks.

by:

Order came in a timely matter and all parts were present. Can not wait to tow my fifth wheel camper.

by:

Product works as it was supposed to, chose my own fasteners as the self tappers broke heads off, so I drilled and tapped into the frame and used stainless fasteners, compression was good and I like the mobile app on my iPhone

by:

Excellent product, and makes it easy to adjust air in the shocks. Can be done while driving. Highly recommend it.

by:

Install was fairly simple. A dual path would have been my first choice. Shipping took longer than expected, probably my fault for selecting USPS. I installed the compressor with velcro to the top of the fuse box in the engine compartment to keep it dry and out of the elements of the harsh winters we have

by:

Great product works well and does as advertised. Only downside is the pump is a little loud.

by:

I have had air bags before and the pump din't come on 4 or 5 times a day like this one does. ( really irrtates my wife.) I have spent hours looking for a leak but cannot find one. Took it to Quaility Bumper a couple of times and they serched a couple of hours and couldn't find one. Then I was told it is normal. I disagree but just living with it now.

by:

This compressor is the second one I have owned and I have loved every minute of it. It makes it so easy to inflate you air bags using the remote control for the compressor. I pull a 17,000 lb toy hauler with my 2013 Ram 2500 and this allows me to perfectly select and maintain the pressure needed in the bags to help keep sag out of the truck and provide more stability. The installation of the system was relatively easy when following the instructions. Lastly I would like to give etrailer.com a shout out for good products and reasonable prices. Thanks again!!!!!!

by:

Product arrived as advertised. Installation took about 4 hours, but at my age takes a little extra time to crawl around and run lines, etc. I installed the pump and control box on left side of cargo box on a 2019 Chevy 2500HD Duramax. Controls work as described. I run 10 psi to maintain bag pressure and at 45 psi when hooked up to our 5th wheel keeping the truck and camper nice and level. Great product for the price. I like having the remote control as I can increase/decrease pressure as needed when hooking up to camper.

by:

All of our company trucks have been equipped with the Airlift Systems. We use them weekly and they are performing flawlessly. We could not do what we do without the assistance which the airbags provide due to heavy tongue weight. Customer service receives 5 Stars as well!

by:

Excellent customer service as usual. Ordered this system and received it in five days. My installation is some what different than most, I mounted all the components on a 3” piece of metal plate and bolted it between two cross members under the bed in front of the spare tire, if I ever need to replace a component just drop the spare and it is a snap. Will be using this compressor for two different trailers a 35’ 5th wheel and a 24’ enclosed car trailer.

by:

Honestly easier to put in than I expected, just need a couple hours to dedicate to the install. Pump is small and takes a minute to inflate the bags, but it gets the job done.

by:

Awesome service! Great answers to my questions and product knowledge was unbelievable. Recommend them again and again!

by:

Happy with product and easy to install.

by:

Awesome product fairly easy to install. Noticed a big difference when towing vehicle feels great and handling was improved. Vehicle would squat when towing a 25 foot trailer now sits leveled and has a firm ride.

by:

Easy to install. Works great!

by:

Great products , fast delivery

by:

It’s neat and not that hard job to installing it.

by:

Great instructions! Very easy to install with the provided hardware and pairing with the phone and controller was quick too! I definitely recommend this!

by:

I had great service

by:

The Air Lift WirelessOne compressor system had everything in the box for installation and the etrailer videos made it easy to install other than I didn’t have an angle drill for drilling holes in the frame of the truck. I made it work but an angle drill would have saved me much on the time to install.

by:

Easy install. Great instructions and online videos.

by:

I’ve had these before on a truck and they were well worth the money! Got a new truck and we’re installing them on it.

by:

I went to extraordinary lengths for a sanitary installation on a 2017 Tundra. After much deliberation I mounted the compressor and control module on the front inside wall of my bed. It's a bit annoying to not have weatherproof units for a design like this. The instructions call out concern for getting the connections out of wet areas. That's fine, except you have to be conscious of the BT signal path. This could be a better unit with more thought. The BIG complaint is the compressor noise. You can wake the dead with this thing, and it might go off at an inappropriate time due to temperature change or bleed off. It does what it's supposed to do, and it's a joy to be able to adjust on the fly. I pull an assortment of trailers from 18' flatbed equipment to 28' enclosed car trailer, and they all require a different pressure. I'd probably still buy it again, but there's room for design improvement.

  • What Causes 14 Error Code on Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System
If you have the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System like part # AL25980 or part # AL25980EZ then you can simply look in the owner's manual for said error code as there should be a chart which references this and provides a suggested solution. I went ahead and did this for you and what I found was that the "14" error code represents a compressor that is under current and the proposed solution for this is to first check the battery and ground connections. If this does not fix then issue...

  • Comparing The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ And # AL25980
The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ and Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 are nearly identical with only some very minor differences in CFM and duty cycle ratings. The # AL25980EZ will also come with an easier mounting method since it includes a giant U-bolt to clamp to the frame instead of having to drill into it like you would with the # AL25980. Both come with a remote and Bluetooth capability so it's really going to come down to how much effort you...

  • Differences in Air Lift Wireless Air Compressors item # AL25980EZ and item # AL25980
There's not many differences between the Air Lift WirelessONE item # AL25980EZ and item # AL25980. The main difference is that the item # AL25980EZ has a slightly higher CFM at 1.03 compared to 0.92 and it runs slightly more efficient at 9% over 15% during the duty cycle. This won't matter for a set of Airlift 1000HD's. The Air Lift WirelessONE item # AL25980EZ includes a mounting bracket but has to be mounted horizontally or vertically. Item # AL25980 doesn't have a bracket but can be...

  • Troubleshooting an Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System # AL25980
I spoke to a technician at Air Lift. He told me the only time they get codes 8 and 9 active together is because there is debris or something loose in the electrical harness. He told me to correct this you will need to unplug the harness from the manifold. Then blow out the four pins of the harness with some canned air. Then plug the harness back into the manifold and it should be working. The tech said if that didn't fix the issue, you would need to reach out to Air Lift for a warranty claim.

  • Troubleshooting Air Lift WirelessOne Compressor System Cycling On and Off Constantly
It sounds like the issue may be with the manifold module on your Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980. First I recommend checking the module for any error codes or if any updates are available. I have linked the instructions below which will cover checking the troubleshooting codes and checking for any updates. Be sure to also check the air line at the barb connector leaving the compressor. • Why Is My AirLift WirelessONE Blowing the In-Line Fuse On My 2020 Ford F-350?
It sounds like you may need to check out your wiring on your Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980. Considering that it worked fine before, and now blows fuses that leads me to believe your wiring is the issue. It could also be a bad compressor, but I would first make sure that your wiring is good. Check to make sure that your grounds are clean, (free from rust/debris) not loose, and there are no exposed wires. If your wiring is good, check next to make...

The installation instructions for the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980, linked for your reference, do note on page 6 that the compressor should be mounted in a "dry, protected area". Direct water splashes or other excess moisture can damage the compressor, as can high heat. Weather-related/flood issues would not be considered a product issue. • Troubleshooting Air Compressor Kit for Air Bag Suspension Enhancement that Leaks
It's probably not the compressor that isn't holding air and instead is the air lines of your setup. The compressors generally don't develop leaks whereas the air lines are much easier for this issue to happen. An easy way to determine where the leak is to put soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the air lines and if there's a leak you'll see bubbles. Most likely it will be near any areas where there's susceptibility to heat or moving parts and/or the fittings as well.

  • Can OEM Auxiliary Switch be Used to Power WirelessONE Compressor System on a 2011 Ford F-250
You definitely can use one of the auxiliary switches on your 2011 Ford F-250 to power the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980. Just be sure that you power it on each time you get in your pickup because the air bags on your system should never be below 5 psi. This compressor system detects and restores air pressure in the event that the air bags start to lose pressure. Attached is a review video for you to check out as well.

  • Could Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor Attach to Bed of 2013 Toyota Tacoma
As long as you can securely mount the compressor to the underside of your bed there's no reason you couldn't attach it to the composite bed. I would try and avoid mounting it anywhere that would require drilling into the cab of the truck though.
