Loctite Lubricants Sealants Adhesives - LT37616

  • Sealant
  • Anti-Seize Sealant
  • 0.7 oz
  • Loctite

This anti-seize stick keeps threaded parts from corroding, seizing and sticking, allowing them to be disassembled easily. Paste-like formula in convenient stick applicator is easy to apply and avoids mess.

Features:

  • Protects threaded parts from corrosion and seizing
  • Tolerates high-temperature applications
  • Waxy formula avoids mess
    • Won't leak in toolboxes or pockets
    • Doesn't drip when used overhead
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Quantity: 0.7-oz stick (20 g)
  • Maximum temperature tolerance: 1,800 F

Applications: Spark plug threads (especially in aluminum heads, which can strip easily), exhaust manifold bolts, engine bolts, thermostat housing bolts, oxygen sensors and battery cable connections

Anti-seize is applied as a paste before assembly to the threads of screws, nuts, bolts, spark plugs and exhaust sensors, which are exposed to high temperatures or chemical corrosion and, consequently, are likely to corrode and seize. By preventing corrosion, anti-seize allows for easy removal of treated parts. Specially designed to protect parts in high-temperature environments such as automobile exhaust systems.

After a year ( includes a harsh upstate New York ungaraged winter), the bolts that the Loctite Anti-Seize Stick-copper was used on are still tight and has not loosened. These are all the bolts on the Thule ladder rack. Thank you, e-trailer, for a great product.

by:

Waxy stuff that may make things easier to disassemble at some point.

by:

I wanted to be able to easily remove my c-clamps from my ladder rack, so I coated the treads with this Loctite Anti-Seize stick. The bolts now tread in and out easily and should make for quick easy removal.

by:

Received as described. I'm not sure if it should have the consistency of toothpaste as you twist it out of it's tube ? l left tube overnight in a cold garage before use and it was fairly hard. I just rubbed it into the threads. I can't tell you how it works as I never plan to take the ball off the mount. Just bought as insurance.

by:

this is one product that are shop likes. its a heck of a lot less messy than traditional anti seize. works well and does not get greasy on everything

by:

This stuff is great, gets everywhere like any other anti-seize.

by:

Easy to use than a tub of the anti-seize that gets everywhere.

by:

Worked great

  • Recommended Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Towing 4000lb Travel Trailer
We have exactly what you're looking for, the # 63232. The anti-rattle lock is compatible with hollow-shank ball mounts or hitch accessories. It can be used for towing. The receiver tube of your hitch can't be more than 2-5/8 inches. If it is, use # SHP2040-XL. The manufacturer recommends using an anti-seize compound like # LT37616 on the threads of the lock before use.

  • Is The Mounting Hardware For the BoatBuckle G2 Ratchet Transom Tie-Downs # IMF14256 Sufficient?
The hardware for the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratchet Transom Tie-Downs # IMF14256 is sufficient from the manufacturer. The biggest issue when mounting them is the bolts being over torqued or reused. It is important to use Anti-Seize # LT37616 to achieve the proper torque and allow you to remove the bolts in the future. The previous issues of incorrect bolt sizes has been corrected as we have not see any issues with that is some time now.

  • Transom Tie-Down Straps for Boat That Weighs 2,500 lbs
For your 2,500 lb boat I recommend using BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF08893 which each have a break strength of 2,500 lbs and will work since they are not going to be handling the full load of your boat at all times. These are 2" wide x 43" long straps so be sure that's the correct length for your boat and trailer; for a longer length you can use the 6' BoatBuckle Transom Tie-Downs # IMF14208. You will also need guanwale tie-down straps and I recommend...

  • Trouble Removing The Locking Nut On The Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier
In regards to the Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part # Y02098, you will first want to make sure that the lock core is in the unlocked position. If you can't get the lock core in the unlocked position then please let me know as this is a separate issue. In order to remove the locking nut on the ForkLift you will first want to spray it down with some lubricant and let it sit for around an hour or so. After the lubricant has had time to soak into the threads you can try to give...

I have a solution for you, however, I actually measured one of these for you and I found that at its shortest, the BoatBuckle Heavy Duty Ratchet Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF14206 would be around 18 inches long, which is a bit too long for what you need. The best solution for you and my recommendation is to go with the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF08893. Instead of using extra webbing with a hook, the G2 straps use a bolt to secure the ratchet body...

The Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 59799 is compatible with your 2022 Toyota Tundra as long as you have the factory Deck Rail System. This rack will fit all 3 bed lengths(5-1/2', 6-1/2' & 8'). Some Loctite Anti-Seize # LT37616 will ensure you are able to remove the components and will help prevent corrosion from building up inside the bolts.

  • Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin that Stays Tight and Wont Strip Out
Personally, I like the SlientACT # SHP2082 because it does thread in but then you use the cam lever to quickly tighten or loosen it. I have linked a video review of it for you. Or another option I think you will like is the Pro Series lock and anti-rattle device # PS63100. This one uses a longer block so that it cannot turn when inside of the shank rather than relying on a spring for retention. I have linked a video of this one as well. For either of these options I recommend used Loctite...

The strap will have a minimum distance of approximately 8" . I would recommend going with the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Tie-Down # IMF14393 as it is constructed of stainless steel. Since this will be bolted to your stern and constantly submerged in water it will hold up better over time. The...

You can use a Brophy Hitch Reducer and Extender # HR26 that will allow for the stinger to fit on your vehicle. The stinger that holds the rack into the receiver will not work on a 2-1/2" or 3" receiver. Yes. The TracRac TracVan ES Van Ladder Rack - 2 Bar - 500 lbs # TH29611XT, can have the load stops removed as needed. You will however need to remove the end caps to remove them. I recommend using the Loctite Anti-Seize Stick # LT37616 if you will be removing and using them often.

For Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24776 for your 2007 Honda Fit Sport there isn't a specific recommendation for anti-seize products for the installation hardware. Loctite # LT37616 would work fine. But if you are talking about thread locker then there is just one thing to consider: how difficult do you want it to be to remove the hardware? The ladder rack that I recommend for your application is the TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack for Camper Shell/Truck Cap # TH29200XT. I've confirmed the weight capacity with my TracRack representative, who confirms that if your camper shell has a 500 lb capacity, the rack will as well. Four included load stops make it easier to secure your ladders or materials on the rack. This particular rack will work with either a 5' or 6' bed with or without the Toyota deck rail system. The Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount # AMSCV-6 uses a polyurethane cushion which requires zero maintenance. My only recommendation is if you plan on always leaving the ball mount in with either a Pin & Clip # 74149 or Lock # e98881 is to use some Anti-Seize # LT37616 on the pin. This will help to reduce the problems removing the hitch pin if it left in and begins to corrode.
