Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the driver's-side tail light. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access the harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your trunk.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
Tail Light Converter
A tail light converter is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. The tail light converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

Instructions were good, but the instructions for triming the muffler heat shield were not correctly identified (not a huge deal, I was able to I.D. the correct one bny the photo), and lighting module was easy to install and works great. I have been wanting a hitch for my vehicle for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger with eTrailer.com and glad I did.

We purchased this wiring harness adapter as a companion to the trailer hitch we bought for our Kia. It allows insertion of the trailer plug adapter between the existing wiring harness and rear lights of our car without the need to cut and splice the factory wiring.
We keep it in the trunk when not in use. When in use we run it out of the trunk, being careful to keep away from the trunk latch. The lower trunk gasket cushions the wire and protects it from being cut or pinched.
Works as intended. Very easy plug-n-play installation.

These wiring harnesses are easy to install and work great! The T connectors clip directly into the brake lights and then the vehicle wiring clips back into the other side. No wire splices to be make!
The installation was easy and the installation instructions were very accurate.
This was a simple addition to the car's factory wiring without any need to cut or splice. Simply disconnect and reconnect.

Bought this product about a year ago now. Install was very easy, connectors all perfect, no splicing. All in all, might have taken me 5 minutes to install and test out. Very happy!!

Works perfectly, nicely built. Needs another foot of wiring from the left turn signal ans another foot on the ground wire. Couldn't reach a grounding post on my '17 Optima. Easy fix though, tested perfectly
I just installed the 118453 T-one Wiring Harness and the car tail lights work. I have not hooked it up to a trailer yet, so we'll see.

Maybe, your instructions should include the following phrase...repeat step "B" on the passenger side for the T-Connector.
