What Info is Needed to Pick Out Correct Rise/Drop Ball Mount to Tow Trailer
Question:
I plan on towing a utility trailer on my 2015 Kia Optima Sx. I have a 1-1/4 draw-tite hitch and will adapt to 2. Im wondering how much rise I should get for the ball hitch adapter to meet up with a standard 4x8 utility trailer. Thank you for your time, Jerry

Hey Jerry that's kind of hard to say without some dimensions but I can still help. Basically you need to measure from the top of your hitch opening down to the ground and then get from the bottom of the coupler lip on your trailer down to the ground. The difference between the two dimensions is the rise/drop you'd need.
If you check out the attached help article you'll see more info on this.
