Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with a 2018 Kia Optima
Question:
I am looking for a trailer hitch to install it on my Kia Optima 2018 but I am not sure wich one is the best option for me. I am planning towing a trailer for 2 jet ski the total weigth its around 2500 lbs. What will your recommendation for my plan. Thanks a lot.

The best trailer hitch receiver option we have for your 2018 Kia Optima is the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24965 which is a custom fit that installs using pre drilled holes in your frame rail. Then for a wiring harness, the best option we have is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118453 which is a plug and play option that will not require any splicing. For a ball mount and hitch ball, I recommend the Draw-Tite Drawbar part # 3593 with the 2" Hitch Ball part # 19258.
Please keep in mind that it is very unlikely that your Optima has a 2,500 lb towing capacity so I highly recommend checking your vehicle's owner's manual.
