Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, along both sides of the frame rail.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

The t connector us working well, It was simple to install
*I have not had a chance to install my new hitch, wiring harness & 4-pole bracket, but I don't expect any problems. My shipment was delivered in a timely manner and was as ordered.
*I have been a customer of e.trailer for some time now and have had great service and products from them. I really like the instructional text & videos on the use, application & installation of the various products. In the past I had an atypical trailer wiring situation and actually received an instructional video from one of the e.trailer reps. I was very impressed and the advise was spot on!!
Fit perfectly on my 1994 Dodge Ram short bed that already had a 7 pin trailer connector. It was pretty much a plug-in installation. This 4 pin connector plus the mounting bracket is what I needed to rent equipment that always has a 4-pin wiring harness.
This was the easiest install of a trailer wiring harness I've ever encountered.
Once I cleaned up the mess that a large trailer company did on my truck originally, I had no problems installing this in about ten minutes.
I received the product in excellent time. I have not yet got to put it on as I am restoring a 1992 Club Cab W250 Intercooled, 5.9 Turbo Diesel, with a body, frame off redo. The mechanicals are all done and frame done. I have installed a Curt Class 5 plus hitch and am working on body with bed not yet on.
Easy, Easy, Easy install. Love the plug and play. Beats splicing into my factory 1990 D150 wiring harness (which I might add is pristine).
This makes the second one that I've otdered.The first one is still doing great. I put both on my 1994 Dodge Dakotas. Great company to do business with. Arrived ahead of time. Great quality product. If I need any trailer product, I want hesitate to order from this great company. Thanks etrailer for such great service and products.
product looks good havent installed yet but pulled my trailer without it cant wait to see the difference wene the trailer brakes are back working as they should and have heard good things about the curties brand !
Was a breeze installing, just a couple of snaps and a ground screw and finished. Great price, and love the quality .

Great, no issues still working like the first day installed
Fit like a mopar factory product. The product was great ( really happy with it ) the price was cheaper than I found at other places when I could even find the item and the shipping was quick too. This isnt the first time I've ordered from etrailer. I've always found their products, prices and shipping times to be real good.
Product quality was great! Easy connectors, level 1 installers should be able to handle.
