Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 1993 Dodge Ram That Allows Full Size Spare
Question:
Hello, can you tell me if this hitch will require the spare tire to be relocated on my 1993 Doge D250 Clubcab? Also, can you provide the part numbers to complete the wiring for trailer lights and brake controller? Thanks

I have a hitch solution that would be ideal for your 1993 Dodge Ram but the part # C15300 that you referenced will require you to reposition the spare so it may not be your best solution.
Instead the Curt hitch part # C15511 would be your best option as it will allow you to use a full size spare.
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # C55317.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
