Note: Tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at the etrailer 36 inch long axle straps with the D-rings. Has a 3,333 pound working load limit, and it is for a quantity of two straps. Now, you'll use these axle straps to tie down a vehicle to the bed of the trailer. When trailering your vehicle, you wanna make sure it sits secure to the trailer. And one of the best ways to do that is using axle straps on the underside of the vehicle.
Since there's no good tie down points on the underside of the vehicle, the axle straps will loop around your axle and then they attach to a ratchet strap to hold the vehicle in place. It is recommended to use two axle straps per axle. Now, these will work with most ratcheting tie down straps, which we do self separately on our website. The other nice feature, if we zoom in on this, if you look on the ends, the D-rings they use, you can see are very flat D-rings. These D-rings attached directly to the ratcheting strap hook.
And what's nice with them being flat, it makes it very easy to feed them under brake lines or through other tight spaces. Now, the strap itself. It is a two inch wide, durable polyester webbing, almost like a seatbelt material. It is durable, abrasion resistant. And if you notice, it has this nice, protective sleeve over it.
This sleeve over the whole strap help prevents any excessive wear on the strap. Now, this is for a quantity of two axle straps. The dimension, again, they're two inches wide, 36 inches long. Now, the maximum loader brake strength on these straps is 10,000 pounds each. But what's more important is the safe working load limit, which is a third of the brake strength.
So, the working load limit on each strap is 3,333 pounds. One note I wanna mention is, these tie down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit we just mentioned. Basically, the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So, just to give you an example, if you're using straps that have a working load limit of 500 pounds each, and you're tying down a load weighing a thousand pounds, then you're gonna need at least two straps to safely secure that load. And it is recommended to all use straps in pairs. Now, this part number is for a quantity of two. If you just need an extra one strap, we do also sell them in a quantity of one, and that's part number E64BR, and it's listed on this product page as a related product. But that should do it for the review on the etrailer 36 inch long axle straps with the D-rings and a 3,333 pound working load limit.
