Today we'll be taking a look at and reviewing the Erickson Chrome Protector Sleeve, for tie-down straps, part number EM06305, also available in a two-pack, part number EM06305-2. Here we have our Erickson 12-inch chrome protector in place. It's going to fit up to one and two inch webbed straps. It's going to be made of 100% polyester, simulated ship skin. It's going to wrap around your bar, holding it secure, and protecting it against getting any kind of scuff, especially if you have chrome handle bars on your motorcycle. It's super easy to put in place, and we can show you how to do that. Take the buckle of your strap, stick it into one end, and then we'll just let the weight do the work on pulling the strap through. Just guide it and drop the strap down until it falls out of the other side.
When you first get them, they're' going to be a little bit stiff. So you might need to work with them a little bit. Go ahead and pull it through, wrap the strap around your bar, bringing it through just like so, folded in half around your bar. Now, with it tightened down, you can see that's going to be real sturdy and it's going to hold your bike in place, protecting it from getting any kind of scuffs or scratches. Now we're ready to hit the road and see how well it works against any kind of twisting or turning. That will do it for our review of the Erickson Chrome Protector Sleeve for tie-down straps, part number EM06305..

Great product. I’m betting it will work as advertised. Just the thing I need to keep my wheels for getting scuffed. Shipping seemed it took forever though. I’ll thank the USPS for that.

The product DOES NOT fit axle tie downs. The D ring will not fit thru the sleeve. The tie down is also made by ERICKSON 2 inch axle tie down.
Well made and worked as designed to protected my bike from from being scuffed or damaged from the tie down straps
