Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this recessed mount blue LED interior boat accent light with this chrome cover. This waterproof LED interior accent light is going to give you a blue light for lighting up your boats, steps, and walkways. And as you can see, I have this on already and obviously I have it connected to power here. And this premium LED is energy efficient, it's long lasting and vibration resistant. So it's relatively bright even with my bright studio lights on.

Let me go ahead and turn my lights off and you can kind of get a better idea of what this light is going to look like in low light or dark conditions. This is rated up to 50,000 hours of operation. I'm gonna go to my wide view here, just so you can see from a distance, what this light looks like and shine it on the wall behind me. It is sealed in a waterproof housing and a clear, durable, impact resistant lens over a blue LED. So zooming back in here.

Again, a really nice blue color. Blue is my favorite color. So really nice light that it gives off. I'm gonna turn my studio lights back on here. And this does have an IP rating of 68, so that means that it's fit enough to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and it's resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters under water for up to 30 minutes.

This comes with a polished stainless steel cover that I have already put on this light. And the military-grade construction of the circuit board is going to make it very durable. The urethane potting offers better protection than common epoxy potting. And this is again a recessed mount, so it requires a 3/4 of an inch diameter cutout. This is going to include the gaskets and the threaded nylon nut here.

So I have the two gaskets on already. So that's going to create a weather tight seal and gonna protect your boat's finish. And then this nylon nut here, that's going to tighten it all down together. So this is compatible with 12 volts DC systems. The blue wire here is gonna be your power and the black wire is gonna be your ground. So it's gonna hardwire to your application. Let me pull up my ruler here. The overall dimensions here, the overall width we are sitting right at about 9/16, I'm sorry, let me look at that again. 15/16 of an inch in diameter. And then the overall thickness is right about the same 15/16 of an inch thick. So, right under an inch on both of those measurements. And while we're here, the length of the wire we're sitting pretty close to seven inches, maybe actually a little over that. That's 7 3/4 inches long overall on that wire length. So the input voltage is nine to 14 volts and the power draw is gonna be 0.02 to 0.03 amps. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. So again, this is in blue.
