Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the TecNiq oval Dragon waterproof white LED boat accent light. Now this is a nice small, oval LED light that provides a bright white light on your boat. So this light is great for upgrading or replacing your courtesy, your accent lighting. It is a nice sealed waterproof housing and lens unit, has an IP68 rating, and it is a durable polycarbonate housing with a nice UV-resistant lens. And if you can see, it is a clear lens over four white LEDs.

Now at the end of this video, I am going to connect this light to some 12 volt power, just to show you how bright the light is, but I first wanna go over some of the features of it. Uses premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant. They are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. They do use military-grade construction of the circuit board on this light. It uses a urethane potting, which offers better protection than the common epoxy potting.

This light is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. Now this is a surface-mount installation. It'll mount using a protective mounting cover, which we do sell separately on our website, and those covers are listed on this product page as a related product. This does hardwire to your application. You can see the two wires, one's a power, one's a ground, and the length of the wire's about nine inches.

Few specs on this, we're gonna measure the width of it. Now, if you notice it has the tabs on each end, so we are gonna measure it including the tabs. So you can see right there it's gonna be about 1 3/8 inches long. The height on it, it's gonna be right at about 3/4 of an inch tall and the total depth on it, is gonna be right at about 1/2 an inch deep. The light output on this is 32 lumens and the input voltage, 9 volts to 14 volts.

So what we're gonna do is go ahead and hook up our power and our ground, and with those all connected, we'll go ahead and turn on our power and you can see there's the four white LEDs, all lit up. Go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, and you can see how bright they are for four LEDs. And also just wanna zoom out to show you from a distance, how much light or how bright it is. And then we'll zoom back in, turn back on our overhead lights, turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on this TecNiq oval Dragon waterproof white LED boat accent light..
