Hi everybody, my name is Andy with the etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at this recessed mount, white LED step and accent light. Now this waterproof LED accent light provides 180 degrees of bright light for your steps and walkways. And as you can see, it has this downward angle and that's going to illuminate the area below it. And this is gonna be great for replacing or upgrading your step, your walkway, and even your cabinet and countertop lighting. Now I have this connected to a 12 volt power supply.

And let me give you a demonstration of just how bright this is. First with my studio lights on, and then let me go ahead and turn my lights off. And again, you can see what this is gonna be like in the dark. Put my hand there just to show you the coverage it has, with that downward angle. And then let me go ahead and turn my lights back on and show you what it looks like from a wide view with our light on.

And so this is a premium LED. And so this is going to be long lasting. This is going to be resistant to vibration, and this is going to be energy efficient. Now this light is sealed in a waterproof housing and a clear, durable impact lens. This cover is going to be made of durable black plastic, and within, is a military grade construction circuit board.

And so that's just gonna add to the durability of this light. The urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting for heat. And then as you can see, this is a recessed mount installation. It does have the grommet included, and this does require a 3/4" diameter cutout for this to install into. This light is compatible with 12 volt DC systems.

And this is a hardwire installation. So you're gonna have two wires for this light. The black wire is ground, and the white wire is going to be your power. Now, let me go ahead and give you some quick measurements here. Looking at the thickness of the light, we're gonna be sitting right at 1" thick, and then the diameter of this light, we are gonna be sitting at 1 1/4" with the diameter. Now the input voltage of this light is gonna be 9 to 14 volts, and the power draw is gonna be 0.07 to 0.09 amps. The wire length is gonna be sitting right at about 7 1/2". And this light does have a limited lifetime warranty. Now again, this is the black plastic housing.
