Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at this recessed mount white LED step and accent light. Now, this waterproof LED accent light is going to provide 180 degrees of bright white light for steps and walkways. The downward angle of this light is gonna illuminate the area below. And this is gonna be great for upgrading or replacing step, walkway, and even your cabinet and your countertop lighting.
Let me give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like. I have it connected to 12 volt power. And keeping my studio lights on, you can just see how bright it is with those lights on. Then to show you what this looks like with the lights off, I'm gonna turn my studio lights off. And again, I'll put my hand here and show you just the coverage there of that light at that downward angle.
So, this is a premium LED, and that LED is gonna be energy efficient, and it is going to be long-lasting, and it's going to be resistant to vibration as well. And just give you a wide angle view again here of just how bright this light is at that distance with my lights on. Gonna go ahead and turn the power off here. And again, continue our close up look at this light. So, this light is sealed in a waterproof housing, and a clear, durable, impact-resistant lens.
And that lens is gonna be right over that one LED, white LED in there. Now, this has a durable chrome plastic cover. And the circuit board within is of a military-grade construction, so that adds to the durability and the, and the ruggedness of this light. And the urethane potting is gonna offer better protection than the common epoxy potting for heat protection. Now, this is a recessed mount installation with included grommet.
And this does require a 3/4 of an inch diameter cut-out. And this light is gonna be compatible with 12 volt DC systems. And this is a hardwire installation. You have two wires here for this light. The black wire is gonna be ground and the white wire is going to be your power. Now, let me pull out my ruler here and give you some overall measurements here. The overall thickness of this light is sitting right at an inch. And then the diameter, we're gonna be sitting right at, line that up a little bit better for you, at an inch and a quarter in diameter. Yeah, an inch and a quarter. Now, the input voltage of this light is gonna be nine to 14 volts. And the power draw is going to be .07 to .09 amps. The length of this wire is gonna be sitting right at about 7 1/2 inches long. This light does have a limited lifetime warranty. And again, this, this light is in a chrome finish. But we do have this exact same light with the white LED in a black finish as well. Excellent service from the folks at E-trailer. Continue to order from them for most of my trailer and project needs. One caveat is item coming through Salt Lake City, Utah during the LDS General Conference will be significantly delayed. My items sat there for almost 3 days before making it to Southern California. Plan your future orders accordingly.
Beautifully made little lights, potted electronics & LED for weatherproofing. Throw off enough light to offer illumination to dark areas. Recommended.
I used these as interior lights in the foot wells of my SxS and they are great. They light up the space well while the shade does not blind me.
We used this as a license plate light. Works Great
We used this LED light to shine on each stair leading up to the back of our house. Really works wonderfully. We also added a switch that turns them on when the sun goes down.

Just got a new camper and they used a few amber clearance lights for some accent lighting, but the amber is too bright to leave on at night for the kiddos.
This new blue light is bright, but the cover keeps all the light on the floor so it doesn’t keep anyone awake at night!

Tested all . Appear to be as advertised except that one light was a WHITE diode when all were supposed to be blue.
The lights were delivered in a timely matter. Unfortunately the lights are very weak providing very little light.
Works perfect for my use.
