Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Optronics Bezel Base. Now, this is going to be a bezel or a base for your Optronics MCL13, MCL14, or MCL13 Series Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Lights. The lights will fit snugly inside of the base here. I'll give you a little idea of our overall dimensions.
If we measure out to the very end, we're looking at a overall length of about three and a quarter of an inch there. It's three and a quarter of an inch long. Our height, you can see this kind of flares up in the middle. So if we go from the flare on one end to the flare on the other end, our overall to height, we're gonna be sitting at about one and 13 16ths of an inch. And then our depth is gonna be just shy of half an inch.
We'll call it seven 16th of an inch. The holes here for your hardware are going to align with the holes on your light. You can see those are spaced an inch and 15 16ths of an inch apart, center to center. The hardware to get this mounted is not included. You can see that we have the open back portion here to allow room for our wiring.
This is a black ABS plastic construction, so it is gonna hold up really well for you. You don't have to worry about rust or corrosion, or anything like that. It's gonna give you a nice, smooth, hard finish, so that it will look really good with your trailer's clearance or side marker lights. So that completes our look for today. Only giving 4 stars , being I haven't installed the lights & bezel yet. Might be a while, gotta work on other things on the trailer. Before lights go on. I can say I've bought these lights a few yrs back. For a different trailer. 1 had issiea, where the black wire corroded off. Ok so what, so I put another light on. Wasn't gonna sweat it. I boight bezels, this time for the heck of it. The ligyts fit in nicely. Can't wait to install them.

Finally warmed up enough to install my etrailer lights I purchased, I installed 3 amber lights on each side of my trailer and 3 red lights on the rear, they look great and are quality made. Thank etrailer for having a great inventory to choose from.

Needed specialty lights to match some purchased 10 years ago. Great to think you can get exact items in this day and age! Incidentally, comparing the 10 year old lights with the new ones, there is no apparent degradation!

- LED Amber Colored Trailer Clearance Light with 2 Wire DesignThe Optronics LED Clearance Light # MCL95AB does ground through the mounting stud. For a different yet similar light you can use # MCL13A2B with snap-on ring # A13B2B that is a 2 wire light and does have a ground wire.
