Video Transcript for Review of Lippert Components PSX2 Stabilizer Motor and Gear Box - LC759091

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement motor and gearbox assembly. This is going to replace the motor and gearbox assembly for your Lippert components, PSX2 Electric RV Stabilizer. So rather than having to replace the whole unit, if your motor or gearbox, or both are the only things that you're having issues with, this is going to be a great way to replace just the motor and gearbox. This does come with a, four-foot, two wire cable here that will allow you to power this up. And this is a direct replacement from Lippert.

So you can trust it is going to work with your system. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that.It should be pretty easy to get installed. Although there are not any instructions included with this. Basically just plug this in where your old one originally was. So if you need a motor and gearbox assembly for your PSX2 Electric RV stabilizers, to get your RV stable again, this is going to be the replacement that you need.

That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

I own a Flagstaff and my front stabelizing jack (PSx2) right front leg would not extend. I read some reviews, understood that it wasn’t electrical so I went to etrailer and found the replacement. No instructions but found it to be easy and took about 45 minutes. Remove the two dark Allen screws 5/32” and on the inside of the bracket same thing. I turned off my 12v master shitch and unplugged my electrical. The wires from both motors as well as the blue and white switch wires were joined at mid center along with the blue and white extend and retract wires. I disconnected the old motor and reconnected the new wires. I aligned the shaft and remounted the new unit! Power on and works like new.

  • Replacing Chewed Up Power Wires On A Lippert PSX2 Stabilizer Motor
I do have a solution for you even though Lippert does not offer a replacement power cord/boot for your Lippert PSX2 Stabilizer Motor # LC759091. First we'll start with the wires running to your trailer's battery. Strip back the black casing and individual wiring casing to expose a little bit more braided wire. You can attach some 12 gauge wire # 12-2-1 to these wires using some heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-5 for a water tight seal. You'll maybe only need a foot of wire to comfortably...

  • Replacement Motor for Lippert Components PSX2 Electric RV Stabilizers
Yes, the motor for the Lippert Components PSX2 Electric RV Stabilizer can be replaced without obtaining an entire new system. The Replacement Motor and Gear Box Assembly for Lippert Components PSX2 Electric RV Stabilizers part # LC759091 is what you will need for this. The motor and gear box assembly come as one unit and must be replaced together. I suggest keeping one spare motor/gear box on hand so you never have any down time but if worse comes to worse you can still operate the jack...

  • Can the Wiring Inside the Replacement Motor for Lippert PSX2 Stabilizer Be Replaced?
The wiring inside the motor is not meant to be replaced. Instead, you'd just need to replace the entire motor with the Replacement Motor and Gear Box Assembly for Lippert Components PSX2 Electric RV Stabilizers # LC759091. This is the correct replacement for the PSX2 stabilizers, so if you have a different one let me know and I'd be happy to help you find a replacement.

  • Troubleshooting Ripped Out Wires on a Lippert Stabilizer
There is usually an in-line fuse with wiring that leads up to the battery. The best thing to do first is to disconnect the system from your battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect. This will serve the same function as a reset button. If this doesn't solve the problem, let me know and I will help you further. If it turns out to be something with the motor, we do have a replacement motor and gearbox for your PSX2 Stabilizer. It's part # LC759091.
