Question:

Looking for correct part numbers for Landing Gear Motor and Gear Box for 2004 Keystone Montana 2980 I do not know that brand or model of the factory original unit. Thanks

I do have a solution for you, but unfortunately manufacturers don't keep that kind of information on file. You could try using a replacement gearbox like part # RVLG-RDBOX and the compatible motor # LC142178 that fits Ram jacks, but without knowing the manufacturer and part number it would just be a guess as to whether it is the correct part or not.

What I recommend doing is going ahead and just replacing your whole landing gear setup. It might be getting close to time to do that anyways if it has the OEM landing gear from 2004 on it still.

Our 8,000 lb landing gear set # RVLG-8000 is compatible with the motor that I mentioned before so that you can have a motorized landing gear set. You can install the Replacement Switch # LG-145236 if you need to replace your switch as well.

This landing gear offers 21-1/8" of travel and will be an exact replacement for your landing gear if it measures 17-1/2" on the outsides of your weld stops or 15-1/2" on the inside of your weld stops (see attached picture).

If this is the correct replacement set for you then you will also want to get the manual hand crank # RVLG-HDL for emergency situations.
