Video Transcript for Review of Yakima Hitch Bike Rack Pull Pin - Y39FR

Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement stabilizer pull pin. This is going to replace the pull pin for your first-generation Yakima HoldUp tilting bike rack. Yakima has moved on to different generations for the HoldUp tilting bike rack and the parts that work with the newer generations aren't necessarily going to work with your first generation that was made between 2008 and 2009. But this is the piece that you're going to need for that first generation. It is going to include the pin as well as the clip, and your lanyard and snap rivet. This is a Yakima product so you can trust that it is going to work with your bike rack.

You're not going to have to worry about making any sort of modifications or it being too big or too small or anything like that, this is the piece that you're going to need for that first generation HoldUp bike rack. So if you're looking for a pin like this, this is the pin that you need, and that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thank you for watching..

Great replacement part for my older Yakima holdup bike rack. The shipping was fast. The part fits like the original and now can be secured with the cable. The old cable also broke years ago.

The unit fits and will be able to now use my rack. I still need another part, which I have already ordered from Etrailer, to make it work good as new.
