Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule Replacement Anti-Sway Cradle for your Thule Raceway Bike Rack. This is going to replace the RDT Anti-Sway Cradle on your Thule Raceway Bike Rack. This will fit with the two model numbers that you see on the screen there. Because this is a direct replacement from Thule, you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original. No worries about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. And so if you've gotten the bike rack secondhand, or if you're missing the original cradle, this is gonna be exactly what you need to get that bike rack up and functional again.

This part was removed from our Thule bike rack. We were so disappointed when we discovered it as we had recently purchased the rack earlier in the year. etrailer was the only place where we get a replacement part. I ordered these replacement cradles from Thule directly. Initially they said they were shipped, but when they didn't appear I called them and they told me they were on back order. I waited approximately 6 months, calling every now and then to follow up, and finally gave up. I then ordered them from etrailer.com and had them within a few days! And, they work perfectly! Don't bother ordering from Thule directly, just use etrailer!

I ordered this replacement anti-sway cradle and it fits perfectly. This is the one flaw in an otherwise quality product. The Thule 9002 Pro is stable and easy to use trunk lid bike mount. The anti-sway cradle hinges are plastic and applying the straps firmly to the bike frame can cause the hinges to bend out of shape. Once they bend out of shape, they no longer stay in place and are useless. etrailer.com made ordering replacements easy and they weren't expensive. Good service!
Perfect replacement for my Raceway Thule bike, appears to be the original product from Thule …. Saved me a few hundred dollars as I had lost the original straps, anti-sway cradle and also the key which locked the bike rack. Without these replacements this particular bike rack is completely useless. etrailer did an excellent job with shipping pronto and all the replacement products are original from Thule. Will do business again !!!!
very quick delivery
This seems to be exactly like the original part - same design, same material, fits well. The price was low enough that I bought two - which is a good thing because another of the original 4 is also showing signs of deformation. I think part of the problem is the Summer heat in southwest Texas. Thule should start making these from diecast Aluminum but until then, I'll keep buying replacements here.

The anti-sway cradle replacements seem to be holding up fine, perhaps better than the originals. However, knowing they are a weak point in the Thule design, perhaps Im taking better care of them.
I ordered these items because I needed replacement parts. The bike rack is awesome and these are just parts that wear out and need replacing. Finding them at this site was easy and ordering was simple; delivery was rocket fast!! Great service and communications throughout the process were welcome. I'll be ordering again when the need arises. Highly recommend etrailer.com!!

Have used it several times and it is all I expected. Good product.
Even though the part is made of high impact plastic it is still prone to stretching and bending while being used on the bicycle rack. This has caused a stretching of the two prongs and eventual disengagement of the part to the rack. This was the reason for my purchase of more of the same part. The replacement part only solved the problem until the replacement was also stretched to the point of being unable to do what it was intended to do.
Perfect replacement; I'm only sorry I lost the original that came with my bike rack but very happy to have promptly and efficiently received a replacement.
Etrailer is the only place that offer quite a few genuine Thule replacement parts. Even more so with thorough info which help getting the right part the first time.

Replacement part for bike rack. Old ones get weather beaten and loose with time/exposure. I want to make sure I have one when old ones break or are los.
