Michael: Hi there. This is Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement gear motor assembly for your Lippert electric slide out. This is going to be a direct replacement for your current motor on your Lippert electric slide out. So whether you're current motor has stripped gears or it's just not working altogether, this is going to be a great way to get your slide out operational again.It is going to have the dual output shaft here. And it's a center drive, so your telescoping arms are going to sit on either side.
It's going to be right in the middle, probably under your storage, right at the top of your storage compartment underneath your slide-out. It is going to have your 12 volt power plug here, so it's going to be pretty easy to replace your old motor with this one. In order to do that, you're just going to disconnect your power, remove your telescoping arms, and then remove the unit from the attachment plate on the RV and then basically reverse the process in order to install this new unit.Now we are going to have the plastic boot here, which can be removed to give you manual function of the motor in case you ever need to do any sort of repair in the future. And although this is a direct replacement, so it's going to fit in place of your current unit, I am going to give you a few measurements. So it sits about 8-5/8 inches away from your mounting plate.
And it's going to be about 5-3/4 tall.So again, this is going to work as a direct replacement for your current motor. It's going to have a high torque design, so it's going to be able to handle pushing out and pulling back in your slide out. So it's going to work great for getting your slide out operational against so you can enjoy your RV. This gear motor replaced a broken Power Gear 523725 motor on the bedroom slide of my 2007 Fleetwood Bounder diesel. It fits and works perfectly. A photo of the installation is attached.

I was searching for an electric slide motor for my 2003 Southwind motorhome. [online] not [online] had the correct motor for my coach. after a bit more research I found that etrailer had the correct gear motor and the parts folks understood everything I was looking for even when an RV store could not find it. it shipped on time and it was the exact OEM motor to include the electrical plug, thanks for the great service etrailer!
