This hitch extender bar connects to any 2" Softride Alumina, Dura, Dura Assist, Element, Hang2, HD, or Versa bike rack and provides another 4" to 8" between the rack and vehicle. It replaces the original rack hitch bar and allows the freedom to carry a rear-mounted spare tire or similar device. Constructed of powder coated steel to prevent wear and tear, it uses an existing anti-rattle hitch pin and lock to thwart theft.
