Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com Let's take a real quick look at this Thule Replacement Tamperproof Wrench. Now this is going to replace one M6 tamperproof wrench for a variety of Thule carriers, including the ones that I have there listed for you on your screen; the ride-on adapter, the bed-rider, the flat top, and the roof-mounted snowboard rack. And I've got those model numbers there for your reference. And as you no doubt know, this is going to remove the tamperproof screws from the mounting hardware of those carriers. And this wrench is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace.
This is the direct replacement from Thule, so what that means for you is you can trust that it's going to work just like the original, whether that was lost or damaged. You're not gonna have to worry about fitment issues, compatibility issues, or anything like that. Now, just to give you the further confidence that this is going to work for you, I am including a picture with a diagram, showing you the measurements of this wrench. Easy to use website, picture is exactly what you get, I requested quicker shipping because we were leaving out of town and I needed to get them off before our road trip out of state and they actually got here a few days before their estimated delivery date. Shipping was a bit pricey but I guess that's what you pay for when you lose the original wrench!! Ouch!

I had lost my original tool to help remove and put on my Thule ski rack. I got a new car and didn't want to buy a new rack so I ordered a new one from etrailer. Works perfectly and got to me quickly. Would recommend and may use again if I lose it again!

This part was exactly what we needed to tighted down our Thule rack and keep it snug all winter long. We removed our racks for summer, but they are back up for the snow season and hauling our gear to the mountain.

I just bought a vehicle with a Thule Ski Rack attached, which is great except I don’t ski and it makes my vehicle sound like I’m in a wind tunnel. You need this tool to remove the rack. eTrailer did great - easy to find the product, good buying experience, and they delivered it right away. Given I only spent a few dollars, they could have take their time. I will keep doing business with etrailer.

Fair price, and items came earlier than promised, which was nice. Glad Etrailer had them.
One of these came with my Thule ski racks, but I forgot where I put it by the end of ski season, so I ordered two more. Luckily, I found the original one, so now I have one in the glove compartment, one in the tool chest and one where the ski racks are stored ! They're unique, so it would have been easier if Thule had included two originally, but that's them.

I bought this tiny wrench for my Thule rack a year ago and e trailer had it available for a good price. They shipped quick as well. The day it arrived, I found my old wrench, but now I can’t find either so I will probably order again .
