Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the magnet retainer clips for the 10-inch and 12-inch oval brake magnets. It is for a quantity of four clips. Now, this part here will replace the magnet retainer clips on your oval brake magnet for the 10-inch or 12-inch electric brake assemblies. Basically, this retainer clip will hold your electric brake magnet to the magnet arm, and there's one clip is required per brake assembly.
This part here is a quantity of four clips. Now, you can see up close how the clip is designed to go right in to the middle of the magnet, push it on, and it holds that magnet to the arm. Now, we do also sell other brake replacement parts if you need the brake magnet or the magnet spring. All those are sold separately on our website. Replaces the magnet retainer clips for your oval brake magnet for 10" or 12" electric brake assemblies.Though listed for 10" and 12" brake assemblies, these fit and work great on the 7" brakes also. The 7" brakes use a real cheap retainer clip for the magnet such that they fall off and the web is full of postings about those clips getting jammed in the brake pads. These fit perfect and are locked on tight.

I needed to replace the trailer brakes so I bought the electrical assembly from another store. After getting them home I noticed the clips to hold them place were not in the package. After going to the local auto parts shop, they didn't carry them either. So I go online with the part number and etrailer pops up with the clips. Clips are ordered and received. They are a perfect fit to finish up the redo on the brakes.

It’s great, everything working the way it’s supposed to.

Worked on my seven inch brake on a 2200 pound Dexter axle on 1997 Casita 16 Spirit deluxe. Previous owner had fashioned a magnet restraint using cotter pin that had tangs facing against the drum surface.
I bought a trailer that hasn't been used in 10 yes, found brakes frozen up. After freeing them up, the little clips that hold magnet on were bad. Glad to find just them separately. They fit great. Thanks
Used on 7" Dexter brakes. Better than the clips that come with the magnets.
Just what I needed. They fit like a glove. Easy to install. The Local RV dealer and auto parts could get the parts for me. Etrailer shipped me the item in less than a week with standard shipping and I did not have to use customer service.
No problems shipped out fast. Fit perfect etrailer is a great place to purchase from.
I still haven't installed them yet, or the brake magnet that I had ordered earlier. Repacking bearings and brake check is scheduled soon; I will try and provide a review afterwards.
