Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at this replacement brake magnet kit for your 12 inch electric trailer brake assemblies that are rated at 6,000 pounds capacity. Now folks, this is a direct Dexter replacement magnet. Again, it fits 12 inch by 2 inch Dexter trailer brake assemblies, and again, it's designed for 6,000 pound axles. It is a oval design, as you can see here. You're gonna get the magnet, the retaining clip, and the spring in this kit.
As you can see, it's got a nice length of wires. You can wire that up whenever you're replacing it. As far as some dimensions on this guy, starting at this far edge way over here, I'm getting 3 5/8 inches long. Side to side here, I'm getting 2 1/4. And I was getting 7/8 of an inch thick.
