Replaces the front cover of the plain idler head on your Solera 12V electric RV awning with built-in speakers.Perfect fit. One thing I did not see in the reviews, my screw holes on a 2018 were packed full of dirt. I had to clean that out first, just to find 5 screws would muscle out, one screw was so rotted from rust from dirt that it stripped immediately. I ended up breaking the old cover off the back piece, leaving the rotted screw behind. Hindsight, I would have purchased the front and back piece together to avoid this. Before ordering, make sure your screws come out, if not, order both pieces. I posted pictures of the old broken piece with screw left, and the new speaker front piece.

Actually, I was looking to get another one but for the other side I ordered two but they were both the same side please contact me about ordering the opposite of the one I did

Excellent! Perfect replacement!! Everything is perfect with this replacement. It is exactly like the one that came on the awning including the wire connections. The hardest part was getting the dirt dobber mud out of the holes to get the damaged cover off. Tip: I used a spray bottle with water and my screwdriver. Kept spraying squirts of water in until the screwdriver would fit down into the screw head. The screws to remove the cover are on the back side, there are 6 of them. I will definitely contact etrailer in the future if I need any other replacement item they sell.
Perfect replacement for a broken speaker assembly. Plug and play except for the wiring attachment which was an easy splice. As usual, etrailer customer service was excellent. They quickly confirmed that the part was correct for the end of the awning that needed repair.
Both front and back cover were delivered in one box. I was happy to see the front cover included a new speaker. Haven’t installed it yet as I have to make modifications to the connecting wires. The original connection was soldered , the new replacement has female connectors and no male opposites.Not a major problem only an inconvenience. If everything works I’ll be a happy camper...

While I ordered the wrong awning speaker cover, when I contacted etrailer consumer help, they were very diligent and identified the correct one needed. The return of the wrong cover was as easy as sticking a pre-addressed label they provided. Excellent communication and service! Love etrailer!!!
