Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Lippert Replacement Head Cover. This is going to replace the back cover for your Idler Head on the Lippert Edge Awning. This is a direct replacement from Lippert. So you can trust it is going to be an exact replacement for that original back cover. So if your original has become damaged, whatever the case may be, this is going to fit right in place.

You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. So this will be the back cover, we'll attach to that front cover for your Idler Head. Make sure that you're getting the right one for what you're needing. This is a black color, as you can see. And like I said, that is going to be an exact replacement, so it will fit right in place of that original.

How To Install and Remove the Drive Head and Idler Head Covers on a Lippert Edge Awning
While I do not have a video demonstrating how to install or remove the idler head and drive head cover for the Lippert Edge Awnings, it is a pretty simple process. You will need to extend the awning out far enough to get access to behind the cover, there you will find a screw. Once you remove the screw, you can pull the front and back cover off of the awning. To install, you would do the same. But, you would be extending the awning out far enough to be able to put the front and back cover...
