Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 20 foot long stick-on rubber seal for RVs and enclosed trailers. Now, this is a universal rubber seal which is used to prevent water from leaking into doors, windows and hatches on your RV or enclosed trailer. It is a ribbed, sponge rubber. Let me just zoom in here as we talk about it.
You can see on the top here, it's a ribbed, sponge rubber which is highly wear and weather resistant. Protects your RV from extreme weather and pests. Now, unlike the standard foam seals, this product consists of a nice close cell core surrounded by a solid skin surface for greater weather and wear resistance. You can see it is as a peel and stick installation. Has the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing.
Basically, you just simply peel off the backing paper and apply the seal. Now, this seal also features the skirted peel and stick recess adhesive design. And if you look real closely, I'm gonna try to show you the cutaway of it. If you look where the adhesive is on the bottom, on each side, if you'll notice it has a skirted edge that comes down and covers both sides with adhesive. This feature protects the adhesive tape from collecting moisture and debris.
And also gives a nice finished look when it's all sealed or installed in place. Now, this can wrap tight around radius corners. Dimension on this, we mentioned is 20 foot long. The width of it is 3/8 of an inch. And the height is only 3/16 of an inch tall.
This is made in the USA. Does come with a couple of alcohol prep pads for helping installation to clean the surface before you stick it down. But that should do it for the review on the 20 foot long stick-on rubber seal for RVs and enclosed trailers..
