The video was a great help. I installed the hitch with my 7 year old grandson in about 1 1/2 hours. I used portable floor ramps and a creeper which gave me just enough room. The holes lined up perfectly on my 2007 Grand Caravan.
I highly recommend this product and company!
The hitch fit great. Being a Minnesota Van the factory hardware had some rust, but it still came apart easily. Tips are to raise the back up and place some jackstands under the rear axle. Use a floor jack to hold the hitch in place while bolting it up.
The choice I made to buy from you was very good and I will do it again in whatever I need thank you

Exactly as expected! Havent lost my trailer yet:. My foot sensor for lift gate also continues to work after installing the hitch.
Town and Country hitch installedHere are some pics of my installation. Hard to take since the hitch is so hidden. Very satisfied with the product and the service. Installation went pretty well. Turned out that it was very important to get the hitch up as high as possible (and aligned on both sides with the bolt holes) before trying to get the bolts back in and to keep all bolts loose until they are all in. Took me a little longer than expected but then I wasn't working on a lift and I am in my early 60s. However, I am very satisfied.

Haven't hing yet but install was a snap! Very solid product there were some scratches/chipped paint on hitch that is why 4 stars. Installed on 07 Town & Country alone with out raising the van. With help it's easily a 15 min job. Installed the hitch and T-one in an hour. Instruction videos are good. Next to tackle tranny cooler.

The hitch and wiring arrived just in ti me!
Website was easy to use and order through. Arrived as advertised. A clever use of the receiver hole to put instructions and parts. Was expecting a box but appears to have arrived in good order.
I was most impressed by the service and communication etrailer.com offered from the moment I ordered. I ordered a very expensive hitch and they had the best price out of everyone including Walmart. The stow and go makes my hitch one of the hardest to install and that was clear on all the instructions I saw here and on the other websites. But my mechanic got it on fine and it looks great! This hitch fit onto my 2005 Dodge Gr Caravan perfectly. You will need ramps or some way to raise the rear of the vehicle. Etrailer sent me the correct product, with free shipping, very quickly. Thank you for your good service.

excellent, I use it all the time, I put my Yakima bike carrier in it a lot, one year in, the hitch is still 100 solid, despite rough weather and heavy use, your installation videos make self-install possible, saving a lot of money there too

Product fit very well. Installation was easy except for one non-serious issue.
I am a backyard mechanic and don't have a lift available or any assistants to help me. When I jacked my van up to install, I jacked it up on the rear axle with one jack at each wheel. This was not a good idea because I couldn't get the hitch at enough of an angle to slip it into place. To remedy I just jacked the vehicle by the jacking points. Therefore the wheels and axles and springs just hung down and presto, it was easy to position the hitch for installation.
I was very pleased with the Draw-Tite hitch for my 2007 T&C van. It mounted as per instructions with no problems. I mounted it myself but a second person would be nice. If you do it yourself cribbing material is useful to help support the hitch at various areas during installation. It's important that you jack the vehicle up at the body jacking points so as to get the top of the springs with more room. I like the way the Draw-Tite tucks up. Looks good. etrailer did good for me.
I received the hitch and taillight wiring in good time. (This review is for 2 items purchased at the same time.) The video(s) help a lot and made hitch installation in less than an hour. The taillight wiring kit was also very easy and took about 30 minutes. Very very glad that I made this purchase and will do it again for my next vehicle. Good products!
Having purchased a camper intended to be towed by our Chrysler T&C van, my major concern was finding a trailer hitch to fit our van that I could obtain and install myself in the few days before our camping trip. e-Trailer provided the solution: easily searchable site, expert pre-sale advice, quick delivery, post-sale installation help, and the job is done with a day to spare. If it were not for some installation glitches, my review would be "excellent", but there is room for improvement in the installation instructions, particularly the plug-n-tow wiring.
1. For the hitch itself, my biggest problem for the first 10 minutes was trying to find a socket that fit the spring-hanger bolts. I finally read the instructions more closely and learned that I needed a 15mm and an 18mm socket, which fortunately I had. I found that it is necessary to both read the brief instructions AND watch the appropriate video. In my case, this required several trips back and forth between my barn and my office to review the video when the instructions were unclear.
2. No useful wiring instructions were included with my wiring package. After calling in, I was referred to instructions for an alternate product, but neither the video nor the documentation were accurate in all respects. And, most annoying, part #42235 didn't install per the instructions: there is, for example, no stand-alone ground wire to screw anyplace; there is insufficient wire length to allow storage of the plug in the jack compartment; and it will probably be necessary to buy a 4-pin extender to actually use the plug.
But, all in all, I got the job done. Everything works, so thank you!
Pretty well made. Doesn't stick out past bumper; yea! On line video is a little sketchy on some details-- the most important to me is that only the forward (one hole, gets larger bolt) mounting flange goes above the leaf spring. Be prepared to figure out some leverage to make some holes line up. Helper very important.
Wiring harness had better video and instructions.
Hitch was very difficult to install, partly due to not receiving 2 spacers, which were not received until about a month after I had completed the installation. If I'd had those spacers, the installation would have went much easier, and complete.
Dear etrailer.com, This is my third hitch from etrailer.com. The hitch went on in about 45 minutes using the factory bolts without any drilling. Thanks for making it easy to install and for making hitches that are an exact fit. The hitch fits nice and snug under the bumper for good ground clearance and ease of use. The light kit is awesome- love the quick connects that plug into the factory lighting. Thanks again for selling great products at good prices that allow me to get the job done right the first time around.
Hitch arrived in perfect condition. I ordered wiring harness from etrailer also. Videos from etrailer made installation a breeze. Hitch looks great. My dad has ordered several hitches from etrailer. He (and I) was (were) very impressed with how well the hitch fit to the existing chassis. Great Product.
Perfect fit on my 2007 Dodge Caravan. This trailer hitch was installed without any issues. At present I use it several times a week between a utility trailer and my boat trailer. Would recommend to anyone wanting to DIY install.
