Today we're going to take a quick look at the replacement PowerClick Clamp for Thule Force XT and Motion XT cargo boxes.This is going to be a quick replacement from Thule for that clamp that goes around your crossbars and helps you get that cargo box installed easily and quickly. It's just going to snap into place. There are two tabs on either side, so you'll want to remove the other one. That one got broken or damaged, bent along the way, something happened. I mean, it's just missing.It's going to install down in that floor of your cargo box, snaps into place and then once there, we can tighten up that knob. You can see whenever we have the knob going around our bar, just got a little block here so you can see how that's going to work.
It should tell you when it's tight enough by clicking, kind of like a gas cap. It's going to hold really tightly onto that crossbar. It's going to give you a nice secure hold on your roof rack system, so that bar is not going anywhere. Holds really securely on here and definitely lets you know why you wouldn't want to use wooden crossbars, 'cause this digs in pretty tight. Then whenever it comes time to loosen it up, just give it a few turns and it opens up really quickly, so we'll be able to get our box taken off and put into storage.It's made of a durable plastic construction on the outside.
Has all those same features as our original, have sort of these plastic-coated metal feet on the bottom. It is spring-loaded to help it open and close. It's going to work with the Force XT, which is several part numbers, those are TH6356B, TH6357B, TH6358B and TH6359B. Also the Motion Xt and those part numbers are, TH6295B, TH6297B, TH6299B, TH6299B, TH6297B, TH6298T and TH6299T and also TH6295W. This does just come has a single clamp, to get that replaced, so if you need multiple ones you can always pick up a couple more quantities of this one.That's going to do it for our look at the replacement PowerClick Clamp for Thule Force XT and Motion XT cargo boxes..

THese are OEM replacements so worked perfectly. I had to replace mine when someone broke into my box and took my clamps. I did put a modified lockout clam shell over the new ones to help prevent this from happening again.

The company etrailer was great to order from, there delivery time is excellent and communication was great. However the clamps are made so poorly. We sometimes need to remove our cargo carrier and nearly every time, at least 1 of the 4 brackets break. This is very frustrating and disappointing considering these clamps are not cheap.
