Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this CURT Replacement Weight Distribution System Head. This is going to replace the head for your 15,000 Pound Gross Towing Weight CURT TruTrack Weight Distribution System with sway control. This is an exact replacement from CURT, so you don't have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that with the rest of your components from your weight distribution system. You can see this does have the opening for your spring or your square spring bars. Got the through pin holes there.
Got our grease serts on the backside so we can very easily keep that lubricated, make sure everything's gonna operate smoothly for us. We've got our two inch wide channel on the backside here for our shank, and we also have our opening up top here for our hitch ball so that we can get that mounted in place. Heavy-duty replacement head fits Curt TruTrack weight distribution system with integrated active sway control that is rated for 15,000 lbs GTW (C17501).Received the hitch head in perfect condition. I was upgrading from a curt 10k weight distribution hitch to a 15k and did a ton of research. One thing that is important in this case is that the bolt length for the top bolt is too long for the 15k head from the 10k. I was able to get a new bolt locally. All in all a great experience as always with the staff. Ray helped immensely and got the order out fast.
