Replacement Head for 15,000 lb Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System  

Question:

I have a curt trutrack weight dist on a 1500 gmc truck with a added drop shank for the lift of truck. can I use the same kit and the original shank of course with me buying a replacement head . Instead of me buying a whole new system

There are replacement head units available for Curt TruTrack weight distribution systems, though you will not need to replace the head unit if you are merely using it with a different vehicle, you can transfer the unit and simply use the original shank. However, if there is an issue with the head unit and you need to replace it then you will need to get the head unit that goes with your TruTrack system. The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17501 requires the Replacement Head # C17509 while the 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17500 requires Replacement Head # C17507.
