Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Fastway replacement head. This is going to replace the head for your Fastway e2 weight distribution system with round spring bars. So your round bars are going to fit in the bottom there and they have those pins that will click into place to hold them in. So this is gonna be an exact replacement just like the original head that came with your unit. This is going to require a hitch ball.
It does not come with one but the opening here is an inch and a quarter in diameter. So it will accept your inch and a quarter-inch diameter shank for your ball. So if you are needing to replace that head unit, this is going to be exactly what you need. The mounting hardware, washers, and spacer rivet are sold separately. We have those available here at etrailer.com.

Adjustable head assembly works with all Fastway e2 weight-distribution systems that use round spring bars.I just returned home from a trip from San Diego and about 20 miles west of St Louis the pin on the spring clip that holds the round equalizer bar in the ball mount head fell out allowing the bar to drop out of the head and drag on I44 for God knows how long. I pulled into a parking lot and removed the equalizer bar so as not to cause damage to anybody following me or an accident on the highway. I went to General RV who provided me a spring clip and the pins needed to replace the damaged spring clip.
I have yet to install the hitch head, but it appears to be exactly as I ordered. I had acquired a Fastway anti-sway setup but it lacked the hitch head. The etrailer web site made it easy to select the item I desired and easy to purchase. Once ordered the item arrived in three days. Outstanding service! And I have no doubt that should the need arise the staff there will be able to answer any questions I have.
Arrived after a long wait, box was beat up but intact, but when I opened it the hitch head was missing.
Don't know what happened, but etrailer (Carol) was able to send me the part, which arrived within a week.
Having it installed next week.

I have used the hitch as the key component to a Fastway anti-sway setup to pull our 24 travel trailer a combined approximate 3500 miles this year. I could not be happier with the product and its performance.
