Can a CURT Weight Distribution Head be Used with Spring Bars from Other Brands
Question:
Will CURT #C17307 fit QUALITY S 1000# max tongue weight distributing hitch V5 trunnion bars? My head and ball got stolen.

The CURT Replacement Weight Distribution Head, # C17307, will only work with CURT trunnion bars. The same goes for Valley, and Reese weight distribution heads. Each can only be used with parts from the same manufacturer.
If you decide to go with a whole new system, the most economical system we have for tongue weights ranging from 600 to 1,200 pounds is the Reese Weight Distribution Kit, # RP66542. The only other part you would need is a properly sized ball, # 19286 (2-5/16 inch diameter) or # A-90 (2 inch diameter).
