Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Square Trunnion Spring Bar for the CURT Short Arm Weight Distribution System. Has a 800 pound to 1000 pound tongue weight capacity. Now, this is for a quantity of one Trunnion Spring bar. This part will replace one Trunnion Spring Bar from your CURT Short Arm Weight Distribution System.
Works on the system, part number C17322, or the C17332. Both of those systems we do sell separately on our website. This is a black powder coated forged steel. It is long lasting and rust resistant. If you notice, it has this pre-attached chain fastener, which is included.
As we mentioned, the tongue weight capacity on the spring bar is 800 pounds to 1000 pounds. And the length of this bar, from the end right to there where the bar starts, is 28 and three eights inches in length. But that should do it for the review on this replacement Square Trunnion Spring Bar for the CURT Short Arm Weight Distribution System.

That said, it does measure just over 28" but it's the shortest one available. Therefore, you may need to set the chain hangers back a bit or if you have more room in the middle install the Chain Hangers for Curt Weight Distribution Systems part # C17005. These are the only options aside from modifications on your end.

However, if you have limited space on the frame rail you can substitute the snap-up brackets that are included with the Reese Weight Distribution System part # RP66022 for the Reese Chain Hangers part # RP58305 which will mount to the sides of the trailer frame, not on top. I have attached a photo of the chain hanger brackets for you as well.
