I bought the mount to put on a can am defender,it fit perfectly to the holes on the machine,the winch I had I did need to drill for mounting hole a little different but it was and easy fix the main thing was matching to the can am.

- Metal Thickness Used in Bulldog Winch Mounting Plate # BDW20279 I spoke to my contact at Bulldog winch and he informed me that the # BDW20279 is 5 mm thick steel which is a little bit thicker than 3/16 of an inch. This is going to be very close to 6 gauge.
