Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the replacement bulb and socket. Now this replaces the taillight socket for the Blue Ox taillight wiring kit, part number BX8869. The bulb sits in that J socket and when it comes to the bulb, it's a 2357. That's the bulb number. Three wire design and with this part number, you get one replacement socket and one bulb. We'll go ahead and hook it up, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it.
And we can turn off our overhead lights and you can see there it sends out a really nice, consistent signal. That's gonna do it for today's look at the replacement bulb and socket for the Blue Ox taillight wiring kit, part number BX8869.

etrailer is the only place I was able to purchase this item. Everyone else wanted you to purchase the whole kit. I will be using these bulb and socket kits to replace the led lights that came with my original kit as they were not bright enough. Thanks again etrailer.

Ordered Blue Ox trailer wiring kit for Chevy Avalanche they only have 2 bulbs in the kit requires 4. much safer with 2 on each side like the stock taillights.

- LED Version of Socket and Bulb Replacement # 294-0774 for Flat Tow LightingYes, we do have an LED replacement bulb and socket similar to the # 294-0774 that you mentioned with the part # RM-152-2. This is made by Roadmaster but due to it's universal 3-wire design like the Blue Ox it would fit the same way as the Blue Ox. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.

What you would need is to start with the part # WG54006-046 and then wire it to the part # A7WCB so that you have a coiled 8 foot long 7-way to 7-way. If you needed a socket you would need part # PK12703. For just replacement bulb and sockets you would want part # 294-0774.
