Front Hitch Recommendation for a 2001 Ford F350
Question:
I have a 2001 F350 SuperDuty 2WD Gas truck that I need a front hitch on. I have Fog lights and was tempted to go with the C31014 as I have a blocker beam. Then I noticed the vertical load is 350 instead of 500 and also it looks like the hitch would be 11inch lower than the 31114 or 65022. That may be a good thing for you guys with tall 4WD trucks but it hurts my already low ground clearance and lengthens the vertical post I would need to support my kayak rack. So my question is, how do I choose between the Curt 31114 and the Draw 65022? Is one better or easier to install? If this is a question you prefer not to answer publicly, just send me a private email. thanks very much,

Expert Reply:
Both the Draw Tite Hitch part # 65022 and the Curt Front Hitch part # 31114 are confirmed to fit your 2001 Ford F350, both will install the same and will have the same capacities. The Draw Tite has more reviews and they were all positive, so based on that and the fact that it costs a little less that's the route I would go.
I attached an install video for you to check out.
