Lift Kit for Trailer with Tandem 5,200 lb Axles
Question:
I purchased a new Ford F350 and need to raise my 2006 Jazz fifth wheel trailer about 2inch so it will ride level. It has 5200LB Tandem Dexter axles with 5 3/4inch X 2inch Dexter equalizers. 1 Can I raise it by using a 4inch tall equalizer? I saw people did that in the HD kit customer pictures. 2 Will the RR23QX work with double eye springs? 3 What springs will replace my existing? Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
The easiest way to gain two inches of lift would be with the Correct Track lift kit part # RR23QX which will give it a lift of 2-1/4 inches. Just going with a taller equalizer would not give you the lift you need. This kit does work with double eye springs. To pick out replacement springs I would need to know the length of your current springs. If the spring is 25-1/4 inch long you would want the part # e34SR. Or if 26 inches long part # e94SR.
