Expert Reply:
The replacement leaf spring that I have available to fit your 6,000 pound axle is the 5-Leaf Double-Eye Spring, # e34SR. This spring measures 25-1/4 inches long by 1-3/4 inches wide.
In order to ensure proper traction and a safe, level ride, we recommend that all leaf springs be replaced at the same time and that all springs match. By using the # e34SR, you would be replacing a 4-leaf spring with a 5-leaf spring so it is strongly advised that all springs be replaced.
Please keep in mind that a 5-leaf spring will provide a stiffer ride than the 4-leaf that is currently on your trailer. At this time we do not have a 4-Leaf Double Eye Spring available for a 6,000 pound axle.
