Which 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Hitch for 2022 Chevy Silverado With Factory Puck System

Which 5th wheel hitch is recommended for my 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500? I have the pucks in the bed. A recommendation for a gooseneck ball would be great as well.

If you have a short bed truck, you'll want to use a sliding hitch unless your 5th wheel has a rotating pin box like the Reese Revolution/Sidewinder or the Lippert Turning Point. For a sliding hitch, I'd recommend the B&W Companion, part # BWRVK3775.

For a long bed truck or a short bed truck with the rotating pin box, I'd recommend the stationary Companion model, part # BWRVK3710. If you're using a rotating pin box, you'll need the # SWW-06 wedge to prevent the king pin from rotating in the hitch jaws.

Either hitch mentioned above will drop right into the factory pucks in your Silverado, after possibly needing a one-time height adjustment. Either hitch has a 20K capacity.

For a gooseneck ball, I'd recommend the B&W # BWGNXA2061 which includes the gooseneck ball and the safety chain anchors.
