How Many Roller Bunks are Needed for a 22 Foot Sea Doo Jet Boat and Trailer

Question:

I own a 22 foot Sea Doo Jet Boat. I want to add rollers to the bunk trailer and I am interested in buying yur DL-21740 rollers. I have two questions. Do these come in Pairs? The second is do I need to cover the entire length of the bunks or part of them? I have difficulty with the boat on and off the trailer as the front part of the boat seems to catch on the way on and off the boat. Maybe the design of the boat or the trailer. Not sure but these rollers seem to be the answer. The second question is do you have any idea how many I would need for a 22 foot boat?

The boat trailer roller bunks # DL21740 and # DL21741 come in pairs. When you put roller bunks on the trailer you will want them to cover everywhere that the boat currently makes contact with the existing wooden or carpeted bunks you are using now. The bunks can be cut if needed to fit. Basically it is better to have too many than not enough.

The roller bunks # DL21741 have a total capacity of 3,000 pounds per set and # DL21740 have a capacity of 2,500 pounds per set so you will need to order them not only based on length but also for the weight of the boat. Adding roller bunks to existing bunks will also make the boat ride a little higher on the trailer so that may or may not require other roller or stop adjustments on the trailer.
