Comparing Curt Trailer Hitch C13315 and Draw-Tite 76138 For 2021 Mazda CX-5
Question:
I am looking for a trailer hitch for my 2021 Mazda CX5 and am torn between the Curt C13315 and drawtite 76138. Which do you recommend?

For your 2021 Mazda CX-5 I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13315 you mentioned over the Draw-Tite # 76138 due to the Curt hitches being made in the USA, and them having a tougher powder coat finish which we have noticed holds up better over time keeping the hitch looking better for longer.
While the Draw-Tite hitch has slightly higher ratings at 675lbs tongue weight and 4500lbs trailer weight compared to the 600lb tongue weight rating and 4000lb rating of the Curt hitch, your CX-5 is only rated for either 2000lbs or 3500lbs trailer weight depending on the specific options of your vehicle so the higher ratings will not be useful for you.
To be able to tow a trailer with your vehicle you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118746, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included videos of the recommended products for you to take a look at.
