Heavy Duty Hitch for my 2003 Chevrolet 2500 HD
Question:
I have a 2003 Chevy 2500 hd, I want the max options for pulling with a bumper style hitch rather than a gooseneck. Max hitch, ball mount and ball and/or pintle. I have a 30’ trailer with max 20000gtw, but I would like a little cushion rather than pushing the limit on the other components.

After checking some information it appears that the maximum towing capacity of the 2003 Chevrolet 2500 HD is 12,000 lbs. This would be the max and depending on options it may be lower than that. I recommend using the owner's manual to determine exactly what the towing capacity of your exact configuration is.
With that said the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15703 is a very heavy duty hitch which will exceed your vehicle's capacity. The BulletProof Hitches Adjustable 2-Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitch part # HD258 to which you can add the 2-Tang Clevis for BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mount part # 358CLEVIS.
I have linked videos for you to check out on each of the recommendations to get additional details.
