Recommendation for Weld-On Rear Jacks for 2020 Griffin 7 Ton Dump Trailer

Carla Thanks for the information I just watched the video and read the question. I have just 1 question. How does jack weld to trailer? Can I weld anywhere along the jack to the side of the trailer frame? I'm sure my uncle will like it and order them Thanks again

For a pair of rear stabilizer jacks that you can weld directly to the frame of your 2020 Griffin 7 ton dump trailer, I recommend two of the etrailer Square Direct Weld Jack part # TJD-8000S. It measures 25-1/8 inches from the bottom of the foot to top of jack when retracted and 40-1/4 inches when fully extended. Each jack has a capacity of 7,000 lbs, for a combined capacity of 14,000 lbs that will work perfectly with your 7 ton dump trailer.

That is correct. Any part of the outer tube of the etrailer square jack # TJD-8000S welds directly to the frame of your trailer. It's pretty universal in that you get to choose exactly how to install it depending on your application. Once you've found a suitable location, you would simply weld on both sides of the jack, as shown in the attached diagram. Also attached is an example photo of a pair of jacks welded on the back of a trailer. I recommend having a fabrication shop or certified welder install it if you (or your uncle) are not comfortable or have not welded before.
