Does Hitch for 2020 Tesla Model 3 Require Use of Stablizer Strap to Carry Bike Rack
Question:
Does the same situation exist with the 1 1/4 inch version of the curt hitch for the model three?

At one point some of the hitches we offered did require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack but recently the one manufacturer that required this (Curt) decided it was not longer needed. So the EcoHitch you referenced part # EH84GR did not ever require the strap and currently still does not. This is the most hidden option we have has the lower hitch opening totally removes when not in use.
The Curt Class III hitch part # C45FR that fits your vehicle as well used to have the requirement but now no longer does. The lower hitch assembly of this does not remove.
