Correct Trailer Hitch for 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 All Models and How To Convert To 2
Question:
Vehicle: 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class I am interested in a hitch for a 2014 mercedes benz CLA 250 4 matic. Before I order I want to make certain that its the proper part. Will the C12163 be the correct hitch? Also need a 1.25 to 2 adaptor to fit this, is Item # HTAD the proper adaptor? Are stabilizing straps necessary? Is the hitch pin included? Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12163 is correct for a 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 (All Models). It is also the only available option and it offers drill-free installation with a hidden design. I have attached an install photo. The Curt hitch has a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening but there is an option to convert this to a 2" receiver tube opening with the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # HTAD.The hitch pins are not included you will need these as well, part # PC2 and part # PC3. There won't be any stability straps needed.
Please note, the adapter does reduce weight capacity by 50%.
