After a year I am still happy with my purchase / installation.
Very quick delivery, the only suggestion would be to include a copy of the installation instructions with the hitch
The hitch looks great(barely noticeable when empty) and is well built. I installed it on my 2018 CLA.
The installation instructions were marginal. The required tools list does not show a E12 Torx socket which is the first tool needed. When those two bolts are removed there is no need to slide the muffler hanger out of the rubber hanger per your photo.
I refuse to believe anyone could install this hitch in 30 minutes even with power tools and prior experience. I took 3 hours. I have installed 3 different hitches on other vehicles, so I am somewhat experienced.
The bumper beam will NOT come out without removing a bolt on each side of the rear fender allowing the bumper cover to swing back a bit more. (see photo)
There is no mention of the two wiring harnesses attached to the lower fascia and bumper beam which have to be accommodated. I was able(just barely!) to replace the bumper beam AND hitch together. The two components together are heavy and unwieldy. I'd have a second set of hands if I were to do it again.
Took 3 hours to install but looks nice. A little trim of bottom fascia but no cosmetic problem.
It took me while to install my hitch due to me not having the proper tools. One thing I do recommend is to removed the bumper to have more room and to remove the bumper you are going to need a long 10mm socket. Besides that the install was easy and final results are exactly what you payed for.
product is as described. Helpful personnel handling phone order with answers to questions. Shipped and arrived sooner than expected. I was very pleased with my experience.

Not sure if I can update my review or not, but Ill try review interface isnt the best I found a copy of the installation instructions in the hitch itself, so all good there. Overall it was much easier to install than I thought it would be... the biggest PITA were the push pins, but once I figured them out, it all went relatively smoothly
