Does Curt 7-Way Kit for 2016 Nissan Frontier Have Charge Line for Trailer Battery
Question:
I have a 2016 Nissan Frontier with C56226 installed I purchased from Etrailer. I am wondering if this will support charging the battery on my trailer? I believe it will based on feedback I saw in a different QandA. My next question is will it provide charge to the trailer when the ignition is off or only when the truck is running? I want to ensure the trailer won’t drain the truck battery. Thanks!

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56226 that you referenced does have a 12 volt accessory circuit pin which you could use to put a maintenance charge on the trailer battery when towing. This means it would keep the battery topped but wouldn't charge a drained battery.
This circuit will only be active when the key of the vehicle is on so it won't drain your Frontier battery when parked.
