Trailer Hitch Compatible with 2012 Infinity M37

i have a 2012 infiniti M37 and I want to install the trailer hitch C11111 on my vehicle , will it fit, can I do it myself, if need be and any thing else I need to know to get started. I read where it said X if so what does it mean.

The 2012 Infinity M37 is the rear wheel drive versus the M37X which is all wheel drive. This will not change the hitch fit at all, so the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11111 will absolutely fit your M37.

It is an installation you can do yourself, but it does require removing the bumper and trimming an underbody panel. There is no drilling required and I've attached the installation details to assist.

If you will be using this hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier you will also need stability strap # 18050 and you will need a class I compatible bike rack like the very popular Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack # KU74FR. This is a customer favorite that will work very well with this hitch on your vehicle.

If you are looking to do light towing, then I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Kit with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56190KIT. This kit is excellent quality and will allow you to simply use a circuit tester to easily determine wire connections and then use the quick-splice connectors. I've attached a video to assist.

Then you can use ball mount # C45571 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball or # C45572 along with hitch pin # F-4.
