Availability of Trailer Hitches for 2016 Infiniti Q70 and Q50
Question:
Do you carry a 2inch hitch for either the Q50 or the Q70 Do you have a hitch install videof on a Infiniti Q70, previously Infiniti called the Q70 the M series

Helpful Expert Reply:
The only trailer hitch available that is confirmed to fit the 2016 Infiniti Q70 is the Curt Class I # C11111. For the Q50 we have the Draw-Tite # 24931 or the Curt # C11407, both of which are also Class I hitches. Between those two options for the Q50 I do recommend the Curt because it's made right here in the USA.
Please just not that Curt does require the use of a stabilizing strap # 18050 with any non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
All of these trailer hitches will provide you with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. There is not a 2 inch receiver available for either of these vehicles, most likely because they simply don't have the type of capacity that a larger 2 inch receiver would have. Trailer hitch manufacturers try to match up the capacity of the hitch to that of the vehicle they are designed to fit in order to prevent users from overloading it.
We haven't had a chance to install the Curt # C11111 on the Q70 so unfortunately we do not have an install video. I have however attached the complete installation instructions below that you can look through to get a good idea of the process. Curt estimates an install time of around 180 minutes for a novice or 90 minutes for a mechanic with experience.
